At The Boston Conservatory, we see each student as a "whole" artist and an individual. Our school is small enough that each student is, by definition, an active member of the community. Our student affairs staffs offer a number of programs and events designed to help students build relationships and life skills, enhance their life inside and outside the classroom—and provide a much-needed break from the pace of the school year.
Celebrate the Conservatory's cultural diversity in a week-long festival of events and performances, participate in student government or any number of student organizations, take one of our time-management or career development seminars, write for our literary magazine, go to a dance, take a trip to New York City—yours is not the typical academic path, but everything you might expect from the college experience is here at The Boston Conservatory.
We have a strongly proactive health and wellness program, as well as a licensed counselor on campus. And our Career Center provides all the resources you need to find a gig or job either during or after college.
Residential life at The Boston Conservatory is as unique as The Conservatory itself. Our dorms are Victorian brownstones and maintain some details from the houses they once were, giving a sense of how deeply The Conservatory is embedded in the community.
