| Your life doesn't begin and end with your talent and performance, and neither does your education here. We see each of our students as "whole" artists, as individual people. We are small enough that you are, by definition, an active member of our community-the relationships and life skills you build here go far beyond the Conservatory walls.
We offer a number of programs and events designed to enhance your life both in and out of the classroom-and to provide a much-needed break from the pace of the school year. Celebrate the Conservatory's cultural diversity in a week-long festival of events and performances, participate in student government or any number of student organizations, take one of our time-management or career development seminars, write for our literary magazine, go to a dance, take a trip to New York City-yours is not the typical academic path, but everything you might expect from the college experience is here at The Boston Conservatory.
We have a strongly proactive health and wellness program, as well as a licensed counselor on campus. And our Career Center provides all the resources you need to find a gig or job either during or after college.
Residence life at The Boston Conservatory is as unique as The Conservatory itself. Our dorms are Victorian brownstones and maintain some details from the houses they once were, giving a sense of how deeply The Conservatory is embedded in the community. All undergraduate students living on campus participate in a meal plan. The graduate dorm has a kitchen, but on-campus graduate students may choose the meal plan.
