Summer Vocal/Choral Intensive Application Instructions
To apply to the Summer Vocal/Choral Intensive for 2008, open the application through the link above, print it out and then complete it following these instructions:
- All applicants must be 15 years of age or older. All applications must include the nonrefundable $65 application fee and a list of your repertoire. Please include one letter of recommendation from your current voice teacher or choral conductor and a CD recording of you performing two contrasting solo songs with accomaniment (art songs in any language, folk songs or musical theater songs).
- Please provide your name, gender, social security number, date of birth, telephone number, voice part, email and home address.
- Please indicate if you plan to live on campus or commute. If commuting, please also indicate if you'll be purchasing the meal plan. It is strongly suggested that all participants live on-campus. Planned activities (see the “Activities” section of the Policy booklet) are mandatory. There is an Activities fee of $150 to cover the costs of tickets and supervision for these excursions.
- Please list your most recent and previous vocal training;
indicate how many years you've been studying voice, if you play an instrument, if you've studied music theory and for how long and if you intend to apply to the Conservatory's undergraduate program in Voice or Musical Theater.
- Section 5 must be completed to process this application.We require basic medical history and medical treatment authorization. If you are under 18 years of age, your parent or guardian must also sign this waiver.

Upon acceptance we require a nonrefundable tuition deposit of $500 per session. This deposit will be credited toward the final amount you owe for tuition and fees.
