Artist Diploma Program
Acceptance to an Artist Diploma program is offered only to exceptional young musicians who have already begun promising careers. The Conservatory rarely has more than a very few Artist Diploma students in residence at any given time.

Completion of an Artist Diploma requires two years of study. Requirements for the diploma are:

1. An applied lesson each semester
2. Appropriate ensemble activity as assigned. It is expected that an Artist Diploma candidate will make exceptional contributions to the musical life of the community.
3. One formal recital per year
4. Concert and recital attendance each semester

Beyond these core requirements, Artist Diploma students may enroll in an unlimited number of courses each semester. At the beginning of the first semester of study, the ADP student, Music Division Director, and Applied teacher meet and establish the structure of the 4-semester program.
