Another Roll of the Dice
Inspired by Broadway's classic hit Guys and Dolls, Mark Saltzman's new musical reunites the songs of composer Frank Loesser with the vivid characters and stories of Damon Runyon. In Dice, three classic Runyon stories are intertwined with hits from the Frank Loesser songbook, such as “Heart and Soul,” “Two Sleepy People,” “Let’s Get Lost,” and many more. Audiences who may be familiar with Nathan Detroit and Miss Adelaide from Guys and Dolls will delight in meeting some of their colleagues-in-crime from Runyonland: Sammy the Shirt, Mitzi Two-Shoes, Monotone Milano, Touch Feely, and seductive nightclub chanteuse Georgia St. George.
