Welcome Fellow Alumni!
Having been at the Conservatory for the past six years, I've been fortunate to know many recent alums. Now, in my new role as your Alumni director, I look forward to getting to know all of you! Please share your ideas and comments with me throughout the year, and stop in to say hello if you come to campus—my office is in Room 200 on the second floor of 8 The Fenway.
Here are some interesting ways that you can stay connected with your alma mater and former classmates this year:
- Keep your contact information up to date—call, write or email me if you have recently moved or have not received anything from the Conservatory in a while.
- Make sure I have your most current email address so you can receive Alumni Alerts —and please let me know if fellow alums you know do not receive these messages, because we may not have their email addresses. (We do not give out anyone's personal contact information without their permission.)
- Attend a performance or an event at the Conservatory and sign up for “This Week at the Conservatory,” a weekly email message sent during the school year with information about what's up on stage each week.
- Re-connect with or meet your fellow alums by volunteering for Alumni Phonathon this fall.
- Post to the Yahoo! Groups page, where you can reconnect with other alumni and share gig or audition information.
- Put a “Boston Conservatory” bumper sticker on your car or purchase a tee shirt with our logo from our online store.
- Become an Alumni Mentor to a current TBC student.
- Offer to give or attend a Master Class.
- Contribute to the Alumni Fund.
- Organize or attend a Regional Event in your area.
- Assist me with our “Welcome to the Alumni Association” event for graduating students held in May 2008.
- Become a Class Officer.
- Promote the Conservatory at Regional Auditions or at Accepted Student receptions.
- Proudly list your alma mater in your performance bio and programs.
- Share your interesting ideas with me.
