Financial Aid Award Guide - International Students
Federal Code Number:
The Federal Code Number for The Boston Conservatory is 002129.
Financial Aid Information:
The Boston Conservatory Financial Aid Office administers a variety of assistance programs to help students finance their education when their own and their family's resources are inadequate for that purpose. It is a fundamental principle of financial aid that the student must first depend on his own resources and those of his family before asking the Conservatory for assistance. Scholarship and financial aid resources may be awarded individually or in combination, depending on the applicant's need and qualifications. While the Conservatory is unable to meet the financial needs of all who apply, every effort is made to distribute funds as equitably as possible so that the greatest number may benefit.
To become eligible for financial aid, students are required to file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The Boston Conservatory's federal code number for the FAFSA form is 002129.
Processed
FAFSAs must be received by the Financial Aid Office by March 1 for new students and May 1 for returning. The electronic FAFSA should be filed at www.fafsa.ed.gov at least two weeks before the deadline. The hard copy FAFSA should be mailed at least four to six weeks before the deadline. These deadlines apply to all forms of aid; merit-based, need-based, and non-need based.
